Shine On [Box] by Pink Floyd (CD, Nov-1992, 9 Discs, Columbia USA)

I bought this Box set a couple of days ago. It's always been a dream of mine to get this set but it was too expensive for me in 92. It's a dream and it reminds me of the good old days going to Floyd concerts in Europe. This is a great collectors edition and a must for anybody who has gone or wish they had gone to a Floyd concert.

The user that says that a used box set in great condition should go for between $50.00- $100.00 defiantly is not a PINK FLOYD FAN OR JUST CHEAP I'll buy all you can find for that !!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is Probably the BEST box set ever released BAR NONE !! THIS IS A MUST HAVE FOR ALL TRUE PINK FLOYD FANS BUT SUPPLY AND DEMAND COME IN TO PLAY HERE BECAUSE IT IS OUT OF PRINT AND THEY MADE A HELL OF A LOT LESS BOX SETS THAN THEY HAVE FANS !!!! This was the first time that I was ever involved with E-Bay. What I was looking for was the Pink Floyd Box Set which is rare. It was created in 1992 and there were only so many copies made. This would make a nice graduation gift for my friend so I though it was worth a try to get set up on E-Bay and begin bidding. The bidding went well at first but then it was rather competitive. Anyway, to make a long story short, I won the bid and price was of no object to me for this particular item. After making payment, the item was on my doorstop in two days! This item was brand new and the seal was never broken. It was a great first time expeience with E-Bay and I look forward to maybe down the line trying to sell a few items. A rating of Excellent would be in good order!

This is one of my favorite purchases for the simple fact that Pink Floyd is my all time favorite band. The seller of this item sold me exactly what was on the listing. It was in immaculate condition and the sound quality is out of this world , not to mention a huge assortment of bonus features.

We purchased this as a gift for a friend who's so into Pink Floyd that he actually believes humans have walked on the Dark Side of the Moon. When he received it, his eyes lit up, shinning on like crazy diamonds. From what we now know, we believe he's Learning to Fly a single engine airplane while he's still young enough and has enough money, and before he lapses into Brain Damage.

Seriously, the package arrived just as advertised, just what we wanted as a gift and just what he wanted.

The great thing about good buying experiences on eBay is the value each purchase has to someone. And by using the feedback as a meter, you know you can buy with confidence when looking for a particular item for yourself, loved one or friend.

It was a good experience. Keep in mind that very few of anything can actually rate a 5 of 5 or excellent, but this deal was pretty close.

Seller put like new condition and this I believed would be worn but the conditon is better than that. There is a cut on the side wall of the package that looks like a razor from opening it out of the box that I hope I can paste back other than that looks good.

If you're a PF lover you must own one. Released around early 1990's, this collection has the best disc of the band with Syd Barret and Roger Waters. I personally miss The final Cut, but I can rated the product anyway EXCELLENT.

The book, the disc presentation / covers, the post-cards are really nice. Look around in the web, and you'll find more info about the box. Is very hard to find a new one in stores!!!

This is a great purchase, a compilation of all the bands work including old singles at an affordable price.

I love Pink Floyd, as they are one part of the "Holy Trinity" of music to me: Jimi Hendrix, Led Zeppelin, and the aforementioned Pink Floyd. It's no surprise, then, that I love this collection; however, besides the supreme music quality of this box set, all of the extra's--box itself, book, and postcards--are really cool. The book is especially fascinating, as it gives some very deep insight into the creation of the music. It's biographical assessment of the band has really made me look at Pink Floyd's members in a different, more human way.

When I was a young adult I had every album Pink Floyd had out and suddenly I lost interest. Years later I decided to get them back. Some of them are hard to find. Someone told me there was a boxed set out with most of the albums, now CDs, in the boxed set. YEAAAH! The boxed set comes with a book and the early years CD, talking about having a flashback. I heard it cost at least 150 dollars, when it came out...WOW! I saw it for a much cheaper price on ebay and mama didn't raise a fool, I bought it. I am pretty much satisfied with it. Only thing I don't like about it, they are not vinyl records just for the sake of breaking out the old record player. This set is a must have for any rock fan. I don't think there's anyone out there who hasn't heard or heard of Pink Floyd: The Wall or Dark side of the Moon albums, just excellent.
No matter what what kind of system you have or the music form, Pink Floyd Rocks!

I really love this box set. I'm a huge Pink Floyd fan and this piece is a nice addition to my collection. The CD's chosen for this set are great ones, the book is wonderful, and the packaging is just cool! :) This set is highly recommended!
