Robyn Carr is one of my favorite authors. This is book two of a three part series and had the other two books. I received it just in time as I had just finished book one. This series is about a town called Virgin River in the northern part of California, and the people who migrate there from other parts of California and the northwest. It is just a little town, and the main characters are a group of guys that served in the Marine Corps together in Iraq, Afghanistan and other countries over there. The main character "Jack" was the troop leader.
The books are hard to put down, and I have now begun to look for other series by this author.

) I have read 4 other books in this series, Virgin River by Robyn Carr. I have loved every one and have a problem putting them down. I didn't know at first it was a series and have read a few out of order. If you chose to read them start with Virgin River and read them in order. It is much more exciting to see the story continue then to know what was going to happen before it actually did. I highly recommend this series.
