Shattering Your Strongholds by Liberty S. Savard (1993, Paperback)

This is the answer to why people are not getting set free of their old nature once they have come to the Lord. The woman does not minch words and she makes what we all want attainable and not just for a day or two.

I highly recommend her 2nd and 3rd books as well. My favorite is Breaking The Power but if you are new to this aspect of the Christian walk, start with this one. If you are ready for steak, start with Breaking the Power but read this one and Producing the Promise after you do the work.

This is not intended to be read for 'entertainment purposes'...these are books that you read, do and do what she says, then read again and repeat steps one and two.

This information is right from God and will change your life if you are brave enough to face the ugly inside each of us as a result of our unhealed hurts, unresolved issues and unmet needs.

She teaches you how to surrender the depths of your soul to God in order to neutralize hurtful, traumatic or otherwise damaging wounds that the world has given us as a result of life.

This is an excellent book. Our church is doing it together and we have all learned so much about what lies we buy into somewhere along the line in our lives and how we develop and hang onto strongholds that effect how we believe about ourselves and others. If you are looking for freedom from strongholds that hold you back from truly living life to the fullest, this books is for you. The prayers in the last few chapters are life changing!
