Sharp Viewcam VL-A10U

I did not get what I purchased.I was led to believe that the camera was in good working order and that was not the case. I tried to return it but to no success. I was very unhappy with my purchase.I purchased the camera because we had one just like it and we needed to transfer the movies to disc after the one we had had broken. We stayed away from the Ads that said "As is" because it was important that we get a working camera and not ones to be used as parts replacement unit. Please note that in the past I have only purchased new items and have had no problems. I will no longer bid for any other item on Ebay because of this experience.

I am going to write a review on the Sharp Viewcam. This area is used to write a review on a product, NOT to complain, THAT IS WHAT FEEDBACK IS FOR!!!!! Now that being said, I bought mine about 7 years ago & this camera is so easy and versitile to use. I mostly have used mine for when I go to horse shows. This camera is so rugged, and still takes beautiful footage. I REALLY love the 3" LCD screen, that to me, is the best feature!!!

It's a good starter camcorder, no GREAT features though
beside the swivel screen. Also, the A/V output was awesome!

I bought this to make indie films and it was great, the black
and white feature really helped at times too. The quality of
the camcorder is great too! It's very easy to carry around.

Overall, a great beginner's camcorder. Also good for home
videos and such.

i strongly agree with mypasosfarm this isn`t the place to gripe and complain about the purchases that you made that is what feedback is for besides people want to here about the good features that it has and how they like it not that it was broken and you are boohooing because you tried to get your money back but with no success that`s just plain bull ?%$@ thanks and have a great day.........now for the good stuff i like this camcorder and love the way it performs and the swivel head is supurb and all the features that it has is just wonderful and that`s all folks

I bought it because I have 3 of my own and I do a lot of filming in the church and it is 2 hours of tape all new camers only tape for one hour now and I need for longer and my friend wanted one as she helps me so I went on EBAY and we got this one paid $63.00 from Boston. When we got it , it would not turn on or anything it is just dead period. So I e-mailed the seller and he said he would return the money and asked how I wanted it and I told him to write me a check because I am crippled and hard to get around. Now I am just waiting to see if the check is good.
This type of camera is excellant I bought my first one brand new at Sears and the other 2 on Ebay and am very satisfied.
