Sharp AQUOS LC-37D62U 37 in. HDTV LCD TV

I bought this TV for my mom as a present for her on Christmas and my expectations were far surpassed. My mom has not really tested the 1080p quality since she does not have a Blu Ray or HD DVD player, but on high-def cable channels (1080i), the picture view is IMMACULATE. Even the quality of the picture on the regular cable channels look crisp and defined.

I got this TV for $1000 exactly on Ebay b/c it was an open box item, but it was in brand new condition regardless. I think the retail value is $1400 or something to that extent, so you could definetly say I got a great deal.

Even though I think Samsung makes the best LCD TV's, (2nd is Sony), the Sharp Aquos definetly comes in a close 3rd. It definetly is worth the value of the money spent.
