Nice picture, poor sound
I purchased the tv for my kitchen/dining room and it fit the bill nicely except for the built in speakers, which during some programming must be cranked up all the way just to hear it. There are no simple solutions if you want to add on an external speaker. The least expensive will run you $150-$200. The picture quality is good with several options for viewing at the push of a button. I don't have it hooked up to a hd box but with the digital signal it's almost like watching high def. It's small so it fit nicely into a corner shelf unit we have. I'm giving it a good rating, but I did not compare it visually with other tv's I strictly shopped on the internet and past experience with larger sharp lcd tv's. If they would've put few more watts of power to the speakers i'd have no complaints.
