I liked this and wanted to see the second season as soon as I finished the first, but due to the writers strike.... James woods was great and his boss is pretty nice. Good law show, somewhere along the line of the House setup with the incorrigible mentor to younger apprentices.

James Woods is obviously a really good actor, yet he plays the part of Sebastian Stark so wonderfully devious. You really end up rooting for a guy who is willing to "BEND" the law to get justice. The supporting cast is wonderful as well, beautiful Jeri Ryan, and Henry Simmons are both wonderful and belivable in thier roles. The stories are well written and even better acted. All in all well worth the money!

Love this TV show...finally time to see him play a good character again after so many bad ones....this is a great show...

Let's take the question why buy it first. When watching a show on tv with commercials, you tend to lose some contrast to where the show is going, or remembering what they are saying or doing. These commercials just seem so stupid these days and so repetitive so boring and who wants to know about drugs that you can ask your doctor about anyway. I do not make time to watch these shows on any given night so it's convenient to watch dvd. I watched Shark once and my wife watched it and really said it was good so I bought it on dvd. It is really a good show, well put together and James Woods plays a lawyer really well. The father-daughter inter-action is superb.

that mattered , and winning is what he did best no matter what .., Shark has a change of heart and takes a job with the LA district attorney's high profile crime unit. leading a team of young inexperienced prosecutors and doing whatever it takes to deliver justice.

I was sceptical when this show it the airwaves on TV but now it is one that I record on my DVR every week. I can not wait to get this in the mail and watch it. I enjoyed the first season a lot and so did my Mom. She and I share similiar tastes in shows and we like to watch them over and over. I recommend this to anyone who likes law shows.

I love it because it is an excellent show, and I am hooked on it. I bought it because my dad also loves it, so it made the perfect Christmas present for him. Now that he has it, we can both watch it!
