
Another "For Dummies" that delivers!

I just started using hand weights and wanted a basic, but effective, workout to do at home. This DVD was perfect for me as a beginner, though it also provides a "second track" for advanced folks, too. I found it thoroughly effective, noticing a difference in my body after only 2 weeks, doing the workout just 3 times per week. The pace is great and best of all, she does some brief stretching inbetween each set which is so necessary, especially for beginners. The workout is one hour long, and very much worth it! I have also purchased similar "beginner" workouts with weights from Denise Austin and Kathy Smith, which I found too fast-paced and difficult. This "For Dummies" workout was by far the best of the three DVDs I bought. The instructor is exremely helpful in describing and showing proper posture, with a lot of reminders. Highly recommended for anyone nervous about using weights. You'll be surprised how quickly you see the difference in yourself!
