what can I say The Story is good, and there are a lot of well know actors in it!
Madonnas acting is O.k. she was still learning back then and it was one of her first bigger Movies!
I think this Movie is mostly for fans of the Queen of Pop!

very unique hard to find cover. a must have for any fan and collector. a great value. I am always looking for unique hard to find items that are normally not easy to find. the picture from the seller was very helpful for buying the dvd.

A beautiful remaster!!!My dad took me to see this in the theatre when I was 9 years old, just after I had fallen in love with Madonna, so Shanghai Surprise has a lot of sentimental value to me. I can certainly understand why people say this movie is bad but I enjoy it. I love the scenery, the music by George Harrison and the campiness. I also love watching the interaction between Madonna and Sean Penn. This new remastered version looks and sounds fantastic! A major improvement over the original DVD. I would consider this release a must-have for Madonna fans and collectors. The special features aren't that great, the restored movie itself is the real treasure!!
