Shag, The Movie (DVD, 2001)

This movie was filmed in North Myrtle Beach at the pavillion where I got married. Love the music and the whole plot of movie, the dance contest and that's what the movie is about the Carolina Shag.

If you haven't seen this movie, please do so!! It's one of the classics!! I would highly recommend it. Girls, you're missing out if you haven't seen it yet. Don't pass this up!! It's a must see, must buy!!!

Literally my favorite movie of all time. I've been obsessed since childhood, but if you've never seen it, you may not be as into it. It takes at least 10 viewing to totally appreciate it.

I bought the DVD because I had already seen the movie. As a matter of fact I have it on VHS. I used to watch it with my sister on rainy days, and we would think about how it would be to be "grown up" like the characters. I prefer to buy on DVD now because that is what is hooked up to my tv. Good movie for a girls night, very appropriate for tween girls or older to watch.

This movie offers wholesome family fun. It is about a group of high school girls that decide to sneak a friend that is getting married away to Myrtle Beach. Once there, they all find someone to share their time there with. This is a great 60's style beach movie. If you are from South Carolina, you'll delight in all of the landmarks that you see in the movie. It is a wholesome movie that even younger kids can watch.

This movie is a must see for all those wanting a glimpse into the life of a southerner. It's about drinking, dancing and finding that certain someone that just makes life better. The shag is one of the most fun dances you can do.......enjoy.

I adore this movie. My younger sister and I used to watch it all the time growing up. We had it on VHS but I wanted it on DVD. I can't wait to share it with her for a girls night. We grew up in the 1980's and this is a wonderful dance movie. Enjoy!

When I received the DVD the case was broke on the inside and on the outside. The movie itself had no scratches and was in good condition.

I love this movie it took me back to my childhood. I was very young when the shag dance was popular but I always enjoyed trying to find someone to shag with. I can't so I watch the movie instead and I enjoy it very much

It was a little dated but had good music and some great dancing. The plot is a little old fashion but for people like me who love to shag dance, it was enjoyable.

I loved this movie as a teenager and I have to buy it for my teenager. Its a teenage classic. Full of fun and goofyness. Lots of laughs

Such a great "girls" movie! I watched this when it was first released & loved it! I purchased this copy for my daughter & her friends. Good "G" fun! Themes are still so relevant! She's taking this on a girls trip to the beach! Perfect for teens!

A little cheesy but in a good way. Love the actors. I have been looking for it everywhere and finally found it on ebay. Probably not everyone will like it but i think its great.
