) This is THE Ninja series to watch for all those who love the genre. Excellent production values and a realistic portrayal of life in Feudal Japan. Although the action sequences are sometimes exaggerated, some of the fighting sequences are very realistic as well, often showing that one true strike is enough.
Although there is some nudity (women topless in the bathhouse) it is nothing obscene, just a snapshot of how life in Japan was really like.
Performances by the actors are excellent, and the plot is fantastic. Each episode can be watched on its own, while there is an overall meta-plot from start to the end of the series.
With up to date and accurate subtitles, this one is truly one to watch.
And the price is right too!
