This is a workshop companion publication for Rolls Royce Silver Shadow owners who prefer to roll up their sleves and take a trip into the world of BA spanners.If you don't know what a BA spanner is, then this is not the publication for you.
Waples 'manual' is essentially a well written and photographed publication on his experience with his Shadow and it's cosmetic restoration along with a look at components, and their subsequent diagnosis, repair or replacement.
It's not about performance, engine or transmission mods - this book is an honest look at the RR product, it's idiocincratic design and build and provides the experienced 'home' mechanic with valuable information on how to keep your lady on the road.
I rate it excellent, but please be aware, this is not a publication for those who are looking for a marque history or color pictures.
