| Movie Description A gaggle of single Manhattan women experience the ups and downs of dating in this comedic HBO series that has earned wild popularity for its honesty regarding women's attitudes toward sex and relationships, as well as for its racy content. Sarah Jessica Parker stars as Carrie Bradshaw, the writer of a relationship column, who still has none of the answers. Though the men in her life come and go, Carrie is always surrounded by her friends: sex-hungry publicist Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), independent lawyer Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon), and Park Avenue princess Charlotte York (Kristin Davis). The four women couldn't be more different in their careers and romantic lives, but they come together over laughter and tears, especially where men are concerned. This collection gathers all six seasons of the show loved by women (and secretly watched by men).

You never know what is going to happen next. Sarah Jessica Parker and her friends experience the relationships/sex life of New York city. They laugh, they cry, learn new thing about themselves, and try to find love. I like this because it breaks taboos and discusses real issues 30 something women have in the dating world. The only thing that may detore you from buying it, is the amount of nudity in this show. It is not suitable to watch this with children nearby. Other than that call the girlfriends over and have fun watching, laughing, crying, and discussing what this show is about...sex! Introduction I was so excited to receive this for Christmas! However, I was in university and was not able to watch past the first season! After I graduated 6 months after receiving them, I settled down and it was worth the wait... except that there were scratches all over the CD's. This was impossible because I never leant them out and never watched them. It looked like the scratches came from the CD's being in the pouches, so they were shipped to stores in this condition! I am devastated and am begging anyone else to examine them straight away! It's been 6 months since I received them and my boyfriend never kept the receipt. $210 gone to waste. Some episodes work, some you have to fight through, and others won't play at all! I wish I could afford another set, but I can't. Read more... |
