Having just reviewed Red Road(which I loved) I turn to this (which I didn't).I suppose if I liked this,I wouldn't be who I am,and perhaps if I were some other person,I might-but I'm doubtless struggling to be kind.In the sense that any bit of media may be viewed as propaganda, and the question asked "What is the central message of this?"this movie may be useful to some for the message that sexual behaviour sans well-considered ethics may prove painful-But allow me to insist that cookie cutters are for baking and what may prove ideal for each particular individual is that individual's discovery, and anyone else having an opinion is absurd. With apologies to the cast,I found the characters in this film loathesome, pitiful and having suffered through this find it very difficult not to wish them completely miserable. While swingerism may be inappropriate for me,vapid, blugeoning, preacherly steaming tripe like this film serves only to trigger my misanthropy.
