Sewing With an Overlock (1989, Paperback)

Had some good hints on using overlock but sometimes difficult to understand. Just beggining to do overlocking so will probably be more useful as times go along. Seller was great - prompt with shipping and price was excellent.

This is a great book for ideas, it has many techniques and the instructions and tips on dn doi them. It gives advice on setting up the machine,fabric choices and supplies needed for each technique. Basic instructions and photos to guide you thru. Very helpful book woul reccomend to others.

I am very pleased with this book. I would recommend it to any seamstress. I have been sewing for 60 years, many of which has been for the public. Have only had a serger for the past few years. I have purchased several books on serging, but this is the most imformative one I have ever read.

If you are new or an experienced overlock sewer this book is for you. The directions are easy to follow. It has many ideas for innovative overlock sewing.

Using a Serger / Overlock machine can be complicated and daunting. This is an older issue, but the pictures are FANTASTIC and very helpful for serger operation. I gave my first copy to my daughter since she is a new serger operator. I just HAD to get another copy. The only downside is that there are additional technologies (since 1989) that are not addressed. BUT,"a serger is a serger" and this book is a classic for all serger operators. A HUGE reference book for instructors.
