SINGER Sewing With an Overlock (1989)
I bought an older serger, preowned, that had a videotape with it, but no manual. The videotape recommended buying this book for in-depth info on serging and using the overlock sewing machine. I was not disappointed. The author goes into detail with great photos and basic information that is not present in some of the newer books on sergers, probably because it would seem redundant in today's more high-tech environment. The clothes pictured are 80's fashions but the techniques are still valid. I was very happy to get this book in such excellent condition and have already learned a lot from reading it. Next project, to maybe actually use the serger?
