Sewing For Outdoor Spaces by Carol Zentgraf (2005, Paperback)

I have a stash of sewing books. THIS one, however, takes the cake. It gives extremely clear step by step instructions accompanied with fine illustrations. I even learned of some new products and hints to simplify my sewing. One was a little gadget called a BIAS tape maker (to make your very own bias tape out of your own fabric)!!! I've already gone to JoAnn's and purchased one. A good hint is to use HEAVY DUTY POLYESTER thread when sewing with fabrics such as Sunbrella to make chair cushions. I absolutely can't say enough good about this book. I sat down and began reading and couldn't put it down until I read every page!!! (That almost never happens to me). I recommend this book to any seamstress from beginner to advanced. It's got something to offer all of us, and I simply can't think of a thing to dislike about this book. It has given me the confidence and excitement to get going on my first outdoor seat cushion. SAN
