Severed: Forest of the Dead (DVD, 2006)

This is a great horror film. I dont understand a review that says you will be disappointed. Im a horror movie buff. I watch nothing but horror movies and I know what is good out there and whats cheezie. Being a former mortician nothing really scares me, so I look for good special effects and the way the movie flows. This film has all the critical parts. Great special effects, a different twist to a zombie flick. Not your average stiff walking z movie.The movie has a begining, middle and ending to it, with more than just off the wall killing. Last, it has many eliments of surprize. Great movie!!! Well made.

i have to admit reading forest of the dead i thought here is another cheap night of the living dead ripoff. but what a great premise for a zombie movie. great effects, ton of gore, and great acting. a great and different addition to the zombie genre.

This is a must see for lovers of zombies and gore. I picked up this movie without any expectations and i was pleasantly surprized. It has a good story and dialogue plus some really great blood and effects. i would highly recomend this movie to anyone who loves horror movies.
