Live (mostly) from a group meant to be heard live

Some groups, if you hear them live, make you glad for studios. Leaden performances, poor quality, just so many things that make you regret buying a ticket. Some few improve live. They Might Be Giants are one of those. If you have never had the pleasure of hearing them live, get this album soon. This is also a servicable greatest hits album for the group as of the time this was issued. While the album drags toward the end, it is very listenable and you may be hitting the replay button more than a few times. This would be a good album for someone who find out more about the group to start their listening. Overall, excellent performances with a lot of appeal.

This CD is great!! Most, if not all, the songs are recorded live at different venues. If you are a TMBG fan (or even if you're not), this CD is a MUST! There are many duplicate songs that are on other CDs, but they are different arrangements and noticeably recorded live.
Incandescent Gas and Meet James Ensore are my favorites and why I bought this CD. This is the fourth time I've bought this CD because I give it to friends to listen to and it never gets returned.
