Love, love, love this book. Practical advice with guidelines, examples and ideas for implementing the ideas contained therein. I plan to read it again and again; constantly, maybe, or until I feel I am truly able to follow the "laws." Truly a book to live by - to grow into your best self. I really don't feel I may ever need another book. I can just follow this one forever - re-reading and practicing, practicing, practicing. It sure would be nice if everyone read it and really tried to follow the advice. How much nicer every day interactions would be.
I read just a little every day, in order that I might digest, really understand fully and be able to follow his thoughts. Whenever I encounter a difficult situation - or anything I'm even slightly uncomfortable about - I open the book again and pick up reading where I left off. Within a few pages I'm re-centered, focused, and ready to address life's issues with calmness and insight.
The book does recommend meditation, but it doesn't explain how to meditate. I'm glad I learned back in the 70's. In fact, I've been meditating a lot more since I've been reading. Wow, what a calming, centering, focusing experience. I'm glad to know I'm bettering myself, helping my interactions and communications with others and am likely to prosper as a result. What a bonus!
