I bought this book for my wife. She liked it because it combines the principles of the Bible and several diet books that provide info on nutrition and proper eating. The book combines the principles of several well known diets such Atkins, South Beach, Pyramid, etc. However, it does not concentrate on carbs alone. It discusses carbs, sugars, fiber, fats, calories, etc. Its primary focus is on applying the proper nutritional balance of each of the these nutritional barometers. It also discusses the affect of these barometers in regard to matabolism, exercise and eventually weightloss.
