Movie Description
A student invites her runaway friend to move into her house while her father is away only to find that the platonic arrangement crimps her budding relationship with a swellheaded high-school hero. An unusual and refreshing "teenpix" comedy that subverts many of that subgenre's conventions: the heroine is bright and ambitious, the absence of a parent doesn't result in kegger parties, and the big man on campus doesn't necessarily save the day. Winner of an award for Special Recognition in the Genre of Youth Comedy at the Sundance Film Festival.

Credits
Cast:Alan Boyce, Billy Wirth, Byron Thames, Maddie Corman

Editorial Reviews
"...Modestly charming....[Connelly is] gorgeous here and quite believable to boot..."
Variety - Cart. (01/29/1986)

"...This sensitively performed, very special comedy is by film makers whose memory of those perilous days of high school, where no emotion is a small one, is tender and acute..."
Los Angeles Times - Sheila Benson (11/20/1986)
