The Seven Habits of Highly Effective People by Stephen R. Covey (1989, Abridged, Audio Cassette)

I bought this book along with many other self help books 11 years ago and I have found nothing like this since. I read the first few chapters over a couple of months from the perspective that I was going to have to later teach the material to someone else (as suggested). I had intended to read through the book to gain insight on some things but what I gained from the book was lifechanging. My feeling as I read through it and applied his teachings was so positive and powerful I felt such an amazing sense of strength particularly as I applied and grasped what it means to live with in integrity through the simple well explained applications to be done over the weeks. As I did the work set out in the first chapters I realised what awesome power I had control of and the sense of strength that comes when you continue to be true to what you say and to always be accountable for what you do. I learned this guy has grasped what it is to live with integrity, proactively and to always begin with the end in mind. It strengthened me so much that I didn't even finish the book because I changed so much for the better in a few months that I started making other lifechanging decisions around my newfound strengths. I have since decided to buy that book again with the intention of seeing what I will gain as I get into the rest of it. If you only had the first few chapters to read I'd say get it because that would be enough to change you forever and I believe that anyone who puts their hands on a copy of this book will see it's something to pass onto their friends, family, coworkers.. It's an absolute gem. I'll be sure to review the rest as soon as I'm finished but don't wait for me before you start.

It was entertaining listening, shorter than I expected. Also, nothing new under the sun - same old stuff I've heard before... A lot of common sense if you ask me. Some suggestions I won't do. Bought it because I went to a seminar that recommended it.

I NEVER received this item only the box it should of come in. I am very disappointed and have never even received an email reply from this seller.

Tape was not in good shape, tape sounds bad that I can hardly hear what Coven says. I'm sorry but I tought it was better than what it really was
