Session 9

This is one of the reasons David Caruso decided to stick to TV.

This movie isn't under-rated as most people say, but it also isn't over-rated. It's an average film.

It has some scary moments, has a decent story and a pretty good cast, it just doesn't put it together to be one of the greats.

Final Verdict:

3/5

Rent or Buy?: This movie is definitely a rental. But it's definitely worth watching at least once.

Seems like it could actually happen

It does start off a little slow, it is worth it and I was never bored by it. It is about men who are cleaning out asbestos in an old, abandoned, mental hospital with a horrific past. One of the men discovers a series of recorded tapes titled, "Session 1-9." The tapes are very disturbing, they are the voice of an insane person with multiple personalities. She actually murdered her family. A doctor is questioning her in them.
As the plot unfolds and the shocking ending is exposed, I actually had chills from it. Not many movies do that to me because I am very picky!

  A long session

This movie starts off very, very slow and doesn't really pick up all that much until the very end. The only reason why I wanted it was because it is a slow moving psychological thriller. You have to watch it more than once to get it though. Would suggest if you like that kind of movie.

absolutely loved this movie. rented it & purchased it shortly afterwards. very well-written, excellent acting all around, atmosphere as thick as potato soup, & an immensely foreboding setting make this one a keeper.
