Sesame Street - Elmo Visits the Doctor (DVD, 2005)

I bought this for my 2-year old daughter. After borrowing it from the libary several times first, I decided it was one we had to own for ourselves. It calms her fears about the doctor and actually makes her want to go to the doctor. In fact, after watching this, she doesn't even say doctor, she calls her the pediatrician. We even had to buy the Fisher Price medical kit so she could play along. It's a great video and long enough to make you feel you got more than your money's worth.

My grandaughter loved this DVD now she not scared to go to the doctor because elmo goes My grandaughter loves elmo and I thought this would help her because she was scared to go to the doctor and it did help thanks

The thing that matters to me most is that my daughter enjoys it. She is going through an Elmo phase and she loves the video. In terms of quality, it works perfectly without any defects. The video covers a variety of information that is appropriate for a child to see and listen.

I WILL NOT BE VIEWING THIS DVD AS IT WAS SENT TO MY GRANDSONS IN A DIFFERENT STATE AS A GIFT. I BOUGHT THEM A FISCHER PRICE DOCTOR SET TO GO WITH IT. THEY ARE 2 AND 3 AND I THINK THEY WILL ENJOY IT VERY MUCH.

Being an mother of 8 kids 8 to 32 and 10 grandchildren all under 9 years I purchase alot of children DVDS.
**This was a super great dvd video I would highly recommend to parents who children love Elmo. My grandson Christian age 2 and Son Patrick who has autisum loved this video and has watched repeated. It keeps children focusing in and retains their attention on dvd. Many Dvds I have found they lose interest quickly a waste of money on purchasing. Children remained quiet and still through dvd, it was amazing how much they loved it. They especially loved Mr. Noodles. Elmo and his friends have alway's been their favorite videos. I found this DVD very educational and helps children understand why it is important to visit their doctor adn not be afraid, I would recommend this for all waiting rooms at your child's family doctor. Saves alot of tears and worries with their wait to see their doctor. My husband Gary and I are bringing a copy of this to Ukraine to the orphanages we work with and Gary will translate to children as they watch. I know they will also love Elmo no matter what the language is.. Again I would suggest this Dvd to anyone big or small, it was really cute..

This is a good educational DVD for 1 to 5 year olds. My grandson who is 3 really enjoyed it. It also comes with a kid friendly game to play. It will bring loads of fun for this age group.

This dvd is long playing. It features Elmo and some of the other Sesame St . It explains nicely what happens when you visit the doctor. My grandson has a dr. kit and now says thump, thump when he listens to his heartbeat. This is the best dvd of his collection, very educational at the same time making it fun to learn. Another good dvd is Elmo's potty training.

My kids love this film, as it eases their minds about going to the doctor. Reminds children doctors are here to help and ensure continued health. Elmo's World, Mr. Noodle, and cartoon segments included as well.

My toddler loves this DVD! highly recommend .She learned alot from it.She used to scream and cry at the doctors, since she watched this DVD with me,I explained to her what that doctor is going to do before her visit and this DVD calms her down.

I bought this set of DVDs because my 2 year old son is CRAZY about Elmo. There were 3 DVDs in the set. All 3 are packed with great entertainers and Elmo style excitement. Whoopi Goldberg, The Fujis and stars from Law and Order are just a few of the guests in these episodes. The only thing I disliked about it was it lost my son's attention during some of the songs and skits with the guest stars but I enjoyed it.
