Sesame Street - Cookie Monster's Best Bites (DVD, 2004)

My 2 year old absolutely loves this DVD. It was the only Cookie Monster video we could find and it's a hit! So glad I bought this!

This is a wonderful DVD. It's 30 min long. My son loves Cookie monster and this is the only Cookie monster one I've found!!

My grandchildren love this movie. It keep them entertained and the music is
the kind they like to try to sing along to.

I purchased this DVD for my three (3) year old nephew who is truly in love with Cookie Monster. There aren't too many Cookie (just him alone) DVD's out there and if there were this one would rank high anyway. He loves it and I love watching it with him.

I bought this movie mainly for my 2 year old. For a while he actually thought he was cookie monster. Everytime he would eat, he ate like cookie eats and of course got nothing in his mouth. Well, he stopped doing that but still loves cookie monster. I can put the movie on for him and I won't hear a peep out of him for next 30 minutes. I can actually get a few things done thanks to Cookie.

I was looking for anything about Cookie Monster for my grandaughter who loves cookie monster. This DVD is all about Cookie Monster so it was a perfect fit. She loves it. The best is that he is still Cookie Monster not Veggie Monster like on TV now.

the best movie! keeps my daughter firmly planted on the couch interrested while i use the crapper. no interruptions, she is entertained. love it!!!

I bought this DVD for my two year old son. He's just getting into Sesame Street, and he particularly likes Cookie Monster. (So do I.) I liked that the DVD included songs I remembered from my own youth; it was good to see them again, just as they had been then. The songs and skits of the DVD were tied together by a simple plot: Cookie Monster starts his own bakery. When my son gets older, I can see more opportunities for teaching here; things like learning how to be patient while cookies bake and cool!

This DVD is 30 minutes long. It's a little short for my nostalgic side, but probably just the right length of time for your average newcomer to Sesame Street. (I'm sure I'll appreciate the brevity of it when I've watched it for the thirtieth time.) I would have liked it more if it had included more than just the one human guest star, Annette Benning, but the skit between she and Cookie Monster is cute and well done.

Perhaps the best part of the DVD was a song called "What is Friend". I can see myself going over this with my son a lot, teaching him to share and what it means to be kind to someone else.

Overall, there are lots of basic skills, even math, that you can teach your child with this dvd. It's more than just a cartoon to stick him or her in front of for half an hour, and it seems like it will stand up well to repeated adult viewing.

My son (21 months)was home sick for a week and all he really wanted to watch was this Cookie Monster video. Cookie Monster is his favorite and this kept in good spirits.

Here is a good way to learn about letters and a good way to laugh while you learn. Young childern will laugh alot seeing cookie monster gobble up the cookies and teach them about letters and pronunciation
