Serenity (DVD, 2005, Anamorphic Widescreen)

Let's cut to the chase. If you like like Joss Whedon you will like this movie. If you have seen and enjoyed the Firefly series by Joss Whedon then you will LOVE this movie. Like all popular movies though, it has to reach out to more than it's core group, this science fiction movie is perhaps the best of it's kind since the original Star Wars. It has fresh ideas, an Orwellian theme and a kind of western/sci fi thing going on that makes it all kind of believable and kind of more cool at the same time. This movie is definitely worth a viewing, I loved it, I am sure you will at least like it, and probably end up buying the entire Firefly season series like I did. (It's worth it)
