Great set of headphones. The sound is crisp and clear and they cancel out extraneous noise very well. Another big plus is that they are super comfortable.

Sennheiser headphones / mics are among the best "bang for the buck" products for the home studio owner. I have several Sennheiser mics and several headphones. I would recommend their products without any hesitation.

I bought some sennheiser hd 201's and I love them! Was very satisfied with how quickly it arrived. The headphones are great! I'm a guitar player and I love using them w/ garage band.

I rate these headphones average for their price, but if you are picky at all about sound quality, you probably will not be happy with them. They have little bass, sound thin and have poor soundstage. These are closed headphones, meaning they keep outside sounds out and the sound inside in. In my experience you need to spend quite a bit more for a good-sounding closed headphone than for good-sounding open headphones or earphones. For example, a $15 pair of Koss KSC-75s clip-ons sound ten times better. I have not yet heard a pair of sub-$100 closed headphones that equal those Koss or even a pair of cheap JVC marshmallow earphones.

Sennheiser.has.made.a.nice.set.of.phones,..for.the.price!.Very.comfortable.but.if.I.was.to.remake.them.I.would.angle.the.ear.cups.a.bit.more.to.the.front.or.back.for.comfy.ear.fit.when.padded.headband.is.perfectly.on.top.of.head....I.loved.the.highs.and.mids.but.the.lows.got.a.bit.poppy...but.I.sometimes.play.my.music.a.bit.loud!.lol...I.LOVE.the.long.cord!!!.I.can.go.all.the.way.across.my.bedroom!.a.bit.small?aayyyeeee!.Super.light.and.comfy!.Good.looking.phones!.Best.bet.for.price.range!

The HD-201 are great for the price. Better than the $20 Phones Wal-Mart carries. Sennheiser carry the super phones for $499. that can be bought for around $379. Until then the HD-201 are sure worth the money. Thanks, James

These headphones feel great (lightweight & snug). They also have excellent tonal characteristics, especially on the low ends, very clear warm bass tones (not something I'm accustomed to, but prefer none the less).

If your looking for a budget priced, home recording pair of headphones, or just for casual listening, these are an outstanding value.

If your looking for studio quality monitoring, these aren't horrible (actually fairly decent), but there are many better choices (albeit more money would be involved).

For cheap headphones, these are good. Positives: cheap, reasonable sound, padded ear protection, suppresses outside noise about 50% or so, long cord and both 1/8" and 1/4" adapters. Negatives: Hiss on S's in voice, very strong signal required to activate, poor bass quality, no spatial audio, and very tight fit for larger (greater than size 7) heads. Get yourself a set of Motorola HT820 bluetooth stereo headphones for around $30 or so for ten times the value.

This is a great item. I highly recommend this item to anyone in the market for headphones. They are a great product for a very reasonable price.

I'm not a huge audiophile, but as far as I'm concerned the sound quality is very good for the average user. The sound levels are fairly balanced and sound is very clear. The main reason I purchased these headphones was for comfort. These feel great even after wearing them for several hours at a time. All in all, in the price range, they are hard to beat. Highly recommended!
