Seinfeld - Season 5 (2005, DVD)

Seinfeld has to be the greatest show of all time. Jerry Seinfeld and Larry David are an unstoppable force in the comedy/sitcom world. I would recommend this to ANYONE looking for a good laugh.

Like all the Seinfeld TV series... they make me laugh and enjoy pure entertainment from a cast of excellent actors!

I decided that I wanted to start from the begining. I didn't think it made too much sense if I bought them all at once because then I'd never watch them all or I'd want to skip around. So I started from the beginning and went from there. Each time I complete a season, I order the next one. So now I into season 5 and I'm enjoying every laugh out loud moment. An American Classic just as I Love Lucy.

I love how i am able to find Great, brand new products, the same i would find in a department store, for 20 dollars cheaper. its convienient, and even more fun when you battle to win it!

There is nothing better than Jerry and the gang. I have seen these episodes a million times and look forward to a million more viewings now that I own the DVD.

Seinfeld is one of my favorite comedies. Season 5 is just as funny as the first four. I also love the extras.

This DVD is a must have for all the Seinfeld fans. If you are not fan watching this season will make you one! This DVD like the other seasons is full of laughs.

Seinfeld - Season 5 is like all the other box sets in this series. All the extras make the set. The bloopers are the best, buy it!

The characters are goofy, funny, selfish, outlandish, occasionally just plain stupid! "Not that there's anything wrong with that!" LOL! But seriously, I recommend Seinfeld for a laugh any time you need it!

classic, jerry seinfeld is a genuis, actors are brillant, love all the "extras" on the dvd, show should go down in history as one of the best and funniest

The Seinfeld DVD collection is the best selling TV series collection on the market for a good reason. It is simply the best TV series available on video. The characters: Jerry, George, Elaine, and Kramer are perfectly cast and perfectly played. The writing by Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David, and company is fantastic. The topics are hilarious because they all hit so close to home with simple, everyday themes. The extra features are delightful. There are lots of behind the scenes looks, interviews, stand up extras, bloopers, deleted scenes, commentaries, and more. The fifth season contains some hilarious episodes like "The Puffy Shirt" and "The Marine Bioligist".

Seinfeld Season 5 was on my husbands Christmas wish list for some time. I purchased it, wrapped it, and waited for the day he could open it. Only to find that disc one is unreadable by any DVD player. We are both VERY disappointed, as it is difficult to find just one disc of a season to replace this.
Aside from the incomplete set, the collection is pretty funny. Not the best season, but also not the worst.

bought it for my brother in law. I haven't watched it in the entirety but have seen the show and is very funny. One of the best sitcoms ever. I would recommend it to anyone.

Seinfeld is the best comedy ever made. There is not one episode I don't like. When you can buy a whole season and watch it without commercials and in beatiful clarity what can you not like about that. The special features are sweet too. I plan to buy every season!!

If Season 4 didn't have THE CONTEST, the classic masturbation episode, Season 5 would have topped the list of favorite SEINFELD seasons with THE PUFFY SHIRT and THE MARINE BIOLOGIST (in which George tries to impress a potential girlfriend and then is forced to save a whale). But my all-time favorite episode is THE OPPOSITE in which George decides that his life sucks because he has always followed his gut instinct. When he decides to do "the opposite" of what he "thinks" he should do, he starts dating a beautiful girl, gets his dream job with the Yankees and finds a $20 bill. Meanwhile, Elaine finds her life falling apart ...

The DVD is worth getting just for these three episodes alone ..

SEASON 5 HAS THE CLASSIC "PUFFY SHIRT" EPISODE IN WHICH JERRY RELUCTANTLY AGREES TO WEAR A HIDEOUS PIRATE LOOKING SHIRT ON PUBLIC TV. ONE OF THE BEST EPISODES EVER AND A MUST SEE, SEINFELD FAN OR NOT. THIS DVD ALSO HAS THE EPISODE "THE STALL" WHICH IS ONE OF MY FAVORITES. IN THE EPISODE ELAINE IS IN A PUBLIC RESTROOM AND SHE REALIZES SHE HAS NO TOILET PAPER SO SHE ASKS THE PERSON IN THE NEXT STALL TO HAND HER A SQUARE, BUT THEY REFUSE AND ELAINE FINDS THIS VERY STRANGE (AS WE ALL DO). AFTER THAT THE WHOLE EPISODE JUST GETS FUNNIER AND FUNNIER UNTIL ALL THE LITTLE SCENES GOING ON DURING THE EPISODE ALL COME INTO ONE BIG SCENE AT THE END. A GREAT EPISODE. THIS DVD HAS 22 EPISODES AS WELL AS MANY EXTRAS INCLUDING BLOOPERS AND DELETED SCENES. WELL WORTH EVERY PENNY!
