    I've personaly gone threw 3 (2 were gifts) of these and have NEVER had one work. Check any review site for them on the web, their completely useless and unusable. There is /no/ bottom spool either. I've taken one apart completely before in an attempt to make it work, and these are badly made, and I would /never/ suggest one to anyone.

    I mean it worked for a min. but never really held the stitch would not work on thick fabiric and wouldn't work long on thin. Good luck I got my 2.00 worth but that's about it!
