See the Morning by Chris Tomlin (CD, Sep-2006, Six Steps Records)

Starting with the first song "How Can I Keep From Singing?", this Contemporary Christian album sets a tone of joyful worship. You can tell that Chris Tomlin is a Christian worship leader by these songs, which are ready-made for a Christian congregation to sing while praising God. But Christians who are riding alone in their cars will enjoy it also and will be singing along before they know it. It lifts the heart and soul. The last song on the CD is "Amazing Grace," but interspersed with the traditional verses is Chris Tomlin's own refrain that starts "My chains are gone/ I've been set free." This both refers back to the fact that John Newton, the writer of "Amazing Grace," was a slave trader before he became a Christian, and it also speaks to the fact that Jesus Christ freed us from our chains of sin when He died on the cross. It is an amazing end for an amazing album.
