Secrets to high-volume, high-profit sales from the most successful sellers on eBay

Secrets of the eBay Millionaires reveals the inside stories behind eBay’s most successful sellers—including those in the Professional eBay Seller’s Association, who together make more than $1 billion annually on eBay. For the first time in one volume, aspiring PowerSellers will get hundreds of undocumented tips and tricks on building a strong eBay business and maximizing sales and profits. Readers will learn to develop a business plan, identify market need, promote their products, build a solid reputation, and more. The sellers profiled represent the major eBay categories, including computers and software, consumer electronics, books, movies, music, collectibles, jewelry, and B-to-B merchandise. Various business models are examined, such as hobbyist-turned- entrepreneur and brick-and-mortar businesses brought online. Readers are sure to find sellers with whom they can identify.

This subject of Ebay millionaires has long fascinated me, even when I was not enthralled with selling on ebay. How did they do it? How did they start? were usually some of my questions. I liked this book because it showed the different sellers had different formulas for becoming this successful of an ebay seller--in short, what worked for one seller did not necessarily work for another. But one common goal they all had was the drive to succeed, and the willingness to work long hours perfecting their business.

Another thing I liked about this book is each seller told about how Ebay's tools in their store or auctions helped them with different aspects of their business, and also how it helped them expand their business growth at their own pace. While the title of this book may sound somewhat corney, the content packs a worthwhile punch, and is a great addition to the Ebay seller's reference library.

Millionaire Secrets to Increase Your Ebay Sales

Overall the book offers a great look into ebay powersellers. You hear how they got started on ebay, the problems they were faced with, and how they solved those problems. As a normal ebay seller you will never face a lot of the issues these sellers did, but it still gives a fascinating look at ebay powersellers, and the issues they face, and must overcome.
Probably the biggest take I have from the book - Is that you can not do it all alone. At some point employees are a must, and so are automation solutions, or listing solutions. Many of the sellers have had to create their own listing solutions, just to list the number of auctions they need to grow, and sell on ebay. Others have had to stop dead in their tracks, and reinvent their business to make it work.
At best the book offers thought provoking info on what it takes to be a powerseller on ebay. Anyone who sells full time can relate to what these sellers have faced. You also see selling on ebay is not simple or easy like the get rich quick ebooks would make it out to be, It takes six or seven 12 to 16 hour days, each and every week. And, the guts to try new ideas, and overcome all of the obstacles in your path.
Read it for a realistic look at what the ebay life is like.
