Secrets Of The Millionaire Mind by T. Harv Eker (2005, Hardcover)

Seeing that all I have tried thus far in business only lead me to be in debt and confused, I decided to accept my girlfriend’s invitation to read this book. A friend of hers recommended it to her and she just passed it on to me. Well, I can't say that I am a millionaire as a result, but my choices are more empowering and leave me at ease with my decisions. I'm the type of guy that has many ideas, but little focus. Now, I’m experiencing a great sense of energy as a result and clarity this book gave me.
This book really delivered on its promise and surprised me with insights I never thought of. Things like managing your money, so your money works hard for you instead of you working hard for your money. I know it almost sounds cliche, but I just had to mention it, because it's true. One of the things he talks about is the psychology of wealth and how to create that mindset. I've decided to follow his lead and let go of my own self limiting beliefs about money, wealth and rich people. I get it: rich is a state of mind that when achieved, attracts money and wealth. One of the things Harv mentions is the ability to help more people when you’re rich vs. when you're poor: it's easier from the top. I did some research on him and it turns out that he does have several foundations that give back to this world. He also goes into details on ways of thinking that will generate several streams of passive income. VERY COOL!
As you will eventually learn I am listing books for sale ....no, for free almost, because this stuff works and I want to do my part in spreading the wisdom by making it available to as many as possible. I spend my last few $$ on my mastercard on these books and know that you will appreciate them :). It’s just my way giving back.

Teaches must needed principles for anyone seeking finacial freedom. Buy it, Read it, wait a week, read it again. Repeat!! Great book!!!!!!!!!!!

This book was recommended to me by a friend who knows a lot of people who use these methods and are millionaires or have become millionaires. I see where my thinking is flawed. Once I get the hang of it, maybe I'll be a millionaire someday too. I truly believe the suggestions in this book can help people with their money problems. Maybe not become millionaires, but who knows? There's no harm in reading a book!

A good primer to get those of us who have little to no financial educational background (i.e. those of us who have pursued humanities or social science oriented professions w/o developing a concurrent understanding of financial intelligence to realistically support our dreams) to start thinking about money in a different way. The strength of this book is to provide basic re-programming cues to begin thinking about money in a healthier way. The book is rather simplistic and the advice given may not apply to everyone but the fundamental message of changing thought patterns associated with money is well worth the time invested to read it.

I have to say that the book was insightful about human behavior very entertaining and funny !
He attempts to help you realize you have been conditioned to feel guilty about having money when so many others do not and that there is confort in "just doing your best".
Our families have unknowingly help to drive this problem home.
This book was inspiring, eye opening and as suggested in the book , I could greatly benefit from reading it again.
Though the likelihood of coming away having the key to all your finacial dreams unlocked is fairly unlikely, the book is worth both your time and money.

This is not a book you read and then put down, but a workbook for you to understand your relationship to money. It's an excellent start to put you on the path to becoming a millionaire. Nor is it an easy road, but Eker's book makes it achievable and helps you avoid the pitfalls. I am not a millionaire yet, but truly know that I can be and what mental habits I need to change to get me there. Which is the purpose of the book. I highly recommend it to anyone, even if you don't want to become a millionaire. What you will learn from this book about your "inner dialogue" about money will truly amaze you and possibly change your life forever. Happy reading, enjoy the adventure; let the journey begin.

This book speaks the truth and is a must have for anyone wanting to be a success n life. It is an easy read, gets to the point and lays it all out there. If you need another book to help keep you motivated, then you need this book! I heard that Donald Trump wakes up at 4 almost every morning so he can read for a couple hours and get himself motivated to GO GO GO. He has a billionaire mind. Don't you want to be like the Don? This book was recommended to me by a friend and I am so glad I took their advice and bought it. The book is an easy read and the author, T. Harv Eker, adds to it with humor and examples from either his life or the countless others who have benefited from his teachings. Eker explains in layman's terms why successful people tend to be successful and how by simply changing their perspectives and attitudes, everyone else can work towards improving their chances of success in their lives as well. I would say for me personally, this book, along with the classic "Think and Grow Rich" by Napoleon Hill, are the 2 most powerful books I've ever read. Do yourself a favor and read and implement the strategies in this book. You won't regret it.

The book is great as are the cd's by Harv Eker. I wish I had read this book when I was a teenager, I would be retired now on some tropical island. The book is very easy to understand. If you follow these principles you can not go wrong. I actually bought this book to give as a gift. Purchased my book over 2 years ago. The savings I have saved following Harv's book paid for my daughter a $5000 car for graduation and our 3 week overseas vacation this summer.

Very helpful book everyone should read. If the exercises are followed it will broaden your perspective on life and provide more tools for your success. It's an easy read too. Strongly recommended.

A extremely good book on how to identify your financial blueprints and why it is obstructing your success. It also teaches you how to change your blueprint for greater successes in life and grow it.
The second part of the book teaches about 17 wealth files on how the rich and the poor people think and act differently. At the end of each file, there are exercises for you to do.
There’s also a section on easy money management system called the Jars System.
In addition, the author makes use of a light-hearted approached and makes the book an easy read.
Highly recommended to people who wants to really change their life and wealth and attain financial freedom. I am definitely “richer” after reading his book.

I really enjoyed the book. I wasn't sure at first, but it does make sense and is very positive. I attempted to find the url links mentioned in the book and had someproblems with that, but on the whole, the book is well worth the time and money. I found it very insightful and enjoyed reading it...

I was really impressed with the quality of this book. I originally bought the book because my financial advisor had recommended it to me. So I bouht it and read the book the first week I bought it (which is pretty unusualy for me to do). All I can say is that the book really opened up my eyes to the mental mindset to have in order to achieve wealth. He really lays it out how poor people think very similar to each other, middle class people think alike, and rich people think like each other, and therefore they get the results on which they think about. I highly recommend everyone that wants to to achieve wealth should read.

Great ideas, great points. Very good and understandable. I LOVED each every one of his highlighted points. He made very good points and had some excellent things to think about and put into practice. The things he says to do are all very achiveable and very good. None of what he said was hard to do. I read the book from the library first and decided it was one I wanted to own!

The thing I liked most about the "Secrets of the Millionaire Mind" was T. Harv Eker's use of humor and common sense to explain the things that should be obvious, but are not always. It was a very easy read and gives a very easy approach to set things in motion.

The only complaint I have is that I didn't buy the audio version so I could have listened to it while driving back and forth to work.

How wounderful to get a glimpse into the mindset that, not create wealthy people, but allows those who continue to follow the principles to remain wealthy. I decided to buy this book because i am very interested in knowing how the rich think and i do not regret this purchase. in this book, harv breaks down these principles into simple and understandable language. He also adds alot of examples from his personal life that drive the points home. I would recomend this book to anyone who wants to grow as a person, especially financially.
