Secret Societies...and How They Affect Our Lives Today by Sylvia Browne (2007, Hardcover)

Famous psychic,Sylvia Browne, has quite a following and who hasn't seen her on the Montel Williams Show? In this book she talks about the secret societies that surround us and affect not only our lives, but the world. This was a very interesting read. A lot to absorb and think about. Are there groups that quietly influence the entire world and how we live? How much do we know about them and their intentions? Ms. Browne claims that our lives wouldn't be the same without them and goes on to share her theory on the conspiracies, cover-ups, long held secrets, misinformation and power manipulations from our past to present. Heavy stuff....will have you thinking. Ever since the Da Vinci Code came out, more people are jumping on the bandwagon and delving into secret societies. Ms. Browne makes some interesting revelations and so we will have to wait and see what happens.

Sylvia Browne has come up with fantasy and managed to pawn it off on alot of uninformed people as truth. She quotes the Bible, but totally twists the meaning of what the Bible says. She does not believe that Jesus died on the cross so that we can have eternal life. She is a pyschic and the Bible clearly states to stay away from pyschics and mediums. Her so called spirit guide is actually a demon. She mixes a little truth with alot of falsehood and outright lies. She believes in re-incarnation, which the Bible does not teach.

A book that exposes the New Age, that I recommend is by Johanna Michaelsen. Her book "The beautiful Side of Evil and "Like Lambs to the Slaughter", expose alot of these lies. I pray for Slvia Browne, because I know God loves her and everyone, but He doesn't want any of us to be deceived and that is what she is doing. I FOUND THIS WRITING VERY IMPRESSIVE- MUCH RESEARCH MUST HAVE GONE INTO THIS BOOK AS I HAVE READ QUITE A BIT ABOUT SECRET SOCIETIES BUT SHE HAD MORE TO OFFER WITH A EXCELLENT GENERAL HISTORY BEHIND THIS. VERY INFORMATIVE.

Having never read anything by Sylvia Browne before, I decided to purchase this book as the title and the synopsis intrigued me.

I've watched her on Montel for years and she truly rubs me the wrong way. I'm not sure if it's something about her personality, her delivery, or if she's just been doing the psychic-medium thing so long (it's a true gift, some of us have it, others do not) that she doesn't filter the things she says to people. That's ok, I have an Aunt like that. =) However, she writes much better than she speaks in public.

I found this book so interesting. A lot of the material I already knew, but that which I did not know about was fascinating and/or frightening. It's well researched, well written, and incredibly informative. She does not beat around the bush or sugar-coat anything.

I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for information about Secret Societies or anyone simply looking for something intelligent to read.

This is the only Sylvia Browne book that ever disappointed me. The political secret societies were interesting. The rest of the book was entirely too much history for me.

Its a great book. Its in great condition. I have several of Sylvias other books and wanted this one. I really enjoyed reading it. Very eye-opening and informative.

I began admiring Ms. Browne will watching her on the Montel Williams Show. I was impressed by her thoughts and beliefs. This book only expresses that she is truly a great person and helps to explain some of the thoughts and feelings I have always had. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.

I like anything that sylvia has to write or say. I have always wondered about what the masons were, my father-in-law was a mason but he passed away before i could find anything about it, so i thought that i would get sylvia's book to see what she had to say about this subject. I am sure it will be good considering i like all of sylvias stuff.

One of my favorite authors. Fast delivery....I purchased more than 1 of this author from this seller and they are in excellent condition..I will continue to monitor this sight...

This book I would put the way it is written & the thing's Sylvia say's Right up their with one of the very best of Her books & I have read all I can find that she writes.
