The Secret by Rhonda Byrne (2006, Hardcover)

I bought this book brand new and I have to say I really enjoyed it. Although, Ms. Byrne doesn't go into detail in the book or the movie about the origins of "the secret" she does explain how to apply it every day in a down to earth format. You could feel her excitement and energy throughout the pages.....she seemed very sincere. The whole idea of the book is a principle that dates back thousands of years, which is called the "Law of Attraction". Basically, it means whatever you think, you attract to you. I believe Ms. Byrne does mention the emerald tablet, but I did wish she would have expanded on where the "Law of Attraction" came from. All in all, it is a great primer for the beginner wanting to know more about this awesome natural law. She also has a website that may be of interest: http://www.thesecret.tv/home.html .
