This is one of those shows you should watch weekly to really start incorporating it's teachings. This is a great self help video to have.

This is a great film. And practicing the concepts that it teaches will bring about change! It truly has in my life!! But I will say that with a dissclaimer:
As a Christian and believer in God and Jesus as my Saviour. I found myself struggling as I watched this film. The Law of Attraction is real!! And it works! UNDENIABLY! The best gift you can give yourself and those around you is to stay positive and grateful! Surely if we all did that we would live in a better world!! But let's not loose sight that this world is SET on a course of self destruction and we are ALL in desperate need of deliverance! THAT, we can not provide for ourselves. NOR will ANY amount of positive thinking prevent the course of things to come. MUCH of what is taught in the video is supported in the scriptures! However, NO MENTION of that is ever made in the content. My advise?? watch this film prayerfully, and GLEEN what is of value. And never forget that GOD IN HEAVEN is our "SOURCE ENERGY" that we will ber accountable to Him for what we do, and that Gratitude is what we owe HIM not the Universe. Be Well...

I have watched this movie almost 40 times since I first discovered it in June of 2006. It has given me some practical and simple methods to improve the quality of my everyday life. I highly recommend it.

I have been studying expanding my mind and consciousness for the past 4 or 5 years. I have read tons of books on the subject and everything seems to come down to one thing, what you give is what you get. I did not realize this life altering common denominator in all of my research until watching the Secret. After seeing it everything clicked and I now know with all of my heart what it takes to be happy, healthy, and successful. There is absolutely no doubt that this is the most enlightening film you will ever watch!

If you are reading these reviews you are already considering bettering your life. Please take the time to watch this film. You will learn why all things, good and bad, happen to you throughout life, as well as how to harness the power to change anything you want to change. After learning the "Secret" you will be able to create anything you want in your life with effortless ease while you are happier than you ever knew possible!

Though I prefer the book to the DVD, I believe everyone should watch and experience this DVD for themselves. It is very positive and uplifting and focuses on how to become more positive and how positive thinking will bring you what you deserve in life. The universe will be kind to you if you are kind in return. It is not so much karma as it is faith. Do not be neagtive or think negative or you will be blocking anything positive from coming your way. The secret is a practice that ensures a better life for all who decide to watch and grasp the concepts in this exceptional DVD. The law of attraction says like attracts like, so when you think a thought, you are also attracting like thoughts to you. Praise and bless everything in the world, and you will dissolve and align yourself with the highest frequency-love. Your current thoughts are creating your future life right now. What you think about the most or focus on the most will appear as your life. Nothing can come into your thoughts unless you summon it through persistent thoughts. This book has taught me many great things! I now create my days in advance by thinking the way I want them to go and I create my life intentionally. Here is a great verse from the book/DVD. Consumed by the energy and intelligence from the writings in the book I read every last page the second I received it and then decided to purchase the DVD. It is a timeless beautiful masterpiece recommended to all! Though the book is better and contains more information the DVD releases the same concept. The DVD is a little too dramatic and could use without the re-enactments but still a good movie. This DVD is not anti-religion or anti-God in anyway, if it was I would not have watched it. It is just a simple self-help DVD with a big message. Have faith, believe in what you choose to believe in (including yourself) and the universe will bring you what you deserve in life through the law of attraction!

The Secret DVD, is a wonderful primer for anyone starting to work with this ancient practice. Anyone interested in further reading, which will definitely expand one's understanding I have listed the following authors; Frances Troward, Ernest Holmes, Catherine Ponder, Louise L Hay, Joseph Murphy, Wayne Dyer. These are wonderful inspiring and actual persons who have been major highlights in my library. And are here on e-bay!!! I've been personally practicing these ideals and life has been truly amazing. Sometimes I sit back and go Wow!! I'm really not dreaming!!! Go for it , Peace and Happiness,Health and Wealth are just a thought away. God Bless.

Everyone needs to see this. For the most part, this information may or may not change your life over night, but it could start you on the right track to a different kind of thinking. Once the information had moved through the country in the form of a book, it inevitably would make it's way to video.

I say this was an excellent presentation which has many particulars and many different perspectives on standing firm and believe in things unseen.

If I told you the secret, then it's possible that you will not value the information so I'll just keep it a secret for now.

Rhonda Byrnes first tried selling this so called Secret in Australia and it totally flopped. She paired up with some investors and revamped it to make it more appealing.It has been a big hit in America a nation full of gullable people who love get rich quick stories.If you want to know the truth read THE SECRET REVEALED Exposing the truth about the secret by James L Garlow and Rick Marschall.

The notion that you can get anything you want by "sending out good vibes" is ridiculous. I saw the DVD. It was "stretched" out so much with useless sound and video effects. Sure it is positive. But I saw the Oprah show in question, then saw "The Secret" DVD and felt it was just a carefully packaged and marketed useless product for those who feel they are down on thier luck in life. Their are so many happy and inspired people in the world who never really had anything they really wanted and were always poor. On the other hand there are those who are rich but miserable. I think what you GET either comes from random chance or hard work. This video is pure bull and it serves only those who get royalties from it.

I watched several times the dvd and also practice it since a year now and I can tell you that it work. I reached ALL my objectives I wrote on a letter and also the amount of cash I wanted to make in 3 months came to me.

This dvd explain why and how Jesus, Buddha, all great teachers know the secret it's just they explained to a different way because it was not the same century than us.

That dvd will change your life and your life will become more easy.

Good things don't happen to you because you will them or attract them, they happen because you get off your lazy a** and DO something about your life!!! It's about ACTION, not attraction. Has the world gotten so lazy and greedy that we can now just "attract" everything we want and need?

What about inhumanity, starvation, genocide etc? Let's fix those problems before we will our next boat to appear in the driveway. How about attracting some help to other people instead of being such greedy bastards.

Rich and successful people got where they are because they WORKED at it.

Save your money and go back to work! Did you think the author wasn't making money off of you?

If you have lousy self esteem and you need to help someone else make money by buying their video/book that will help you feel "happy" inside about yourself, then this is the book for you. Like Tony Robbins and Zig Ziggler, another capitalist came up with a new idea on how to get rich fast: Tell everyone that they have no self esteem and that they will never amount to anything, until they buy their video/book!

I watched this video and laughed my head off. I have a great family, a great job, great kids and no need for some quack to tell me that I am not fullfilled enough. So for you poor saps out there looking for a quick fix to your problems, then this video is for you. For the rest of you with a life, get out of bed and hit the concret because you are the only person who will make something in your happen.

And guess what? I am a Christian too!

The Secret was just a condensed version of writings that have been around for decades. Yes, I do believe in the Law of Attraction, however the way this is presented it makes it sound that all anyone has to do is ask...feeeeeel it and poof it's theirs. The concept is a bit more complicated that this work represents. But, let face it, this DVD sells because everyone wants it all with very little effort and the makers lure you in with that claim. I am not happy with the way the Law of Attraction was presented here. I think the only people attracting wealth with this CD/Book are the people involved in writing and producing this Book/DVD. The rest are making vision boards and wishing on stars. It doesn't work that way.

I actually bought this copy for a friend who has had the worst streak of bad luck a person can have. I try to watch it once a week, just to reaffirm what I need to be thinking about! It is difficult to change your thought patterns overnight, so it takes continuous practice.

I think this is a great movie that makes you feel so empowered by the end. My relationship with my husband has definitely grown since I first learned about The Secret, and I am now singing in a band (something I've always wanted to do) and studying to be a dog trainer (dogs are a passion of mine) in my spare time outside of my full-time job. I would have never pursued these things before with my previous thought pattern. My parents taught me to think that music and careers that didn't involve traditional schooling, like dog training, were a waste of time.

Now I don't think about the past and what my parents told me. I do what makes me happy. Period. And The Secret helped me break through to this level. I recommend to anyone who views it to take it with an open mind. It is true that you can do anything you visualize yourself doing with passion. That is how great things are accomplished in life. Don't take it as literally as you see it (girl thinks about having the necklace, and so someone buys it for her = improbable), but try to grasp the main concepts behind it (she keeps visualizing herself wearing that beautiful necklace and happens to catch the eye of her significant other staring at it through the window one day, so he buys it for her on her birthday = much more likely, and still within the confines of the secret).

Things don't just appear because we want them to. When we visualize having or doing things we really want with a lot of passion, our bodies and minds begin to automatically do the things needed to get us to that point. A couple of years ago, I was in grad school studying herpetology (reptiles and amphibians), and I found out that the 5th World Congress of Herpetology was in Stellenbosch, South Africa. Me and my collegue had never been before, and we both thought it would be a great opportunity to get to go. We presented the idea of presenting our thesis research at the conference to get our grant to pay for the trip. It was a long-shot and we were told it more than likely wouldn't happen but to go through the paperwork and see. We were so excited and determined - we weren't going to let anyone tell us no! We filled out the paperwork, defended everything that came our way, and we were approved for the trip! If we would have given up the first time we were told no, we would have never gotten to go. But we kept pushing, all the while excitedly talking and thinking about how cool South Africa would be. Everything ended up working exactly the way we wanted it to and we presented our research at the conference, and then went on a 10-day wildlife excursion afterwards. It was even more awesome than we thought it would be!

It is important to think about what you want with passion and intent. It really does work!!

I bought the DVD "The Secret" a few weeks ago after reading the book and I absolutely love it!
If you want to feel hopeful,inspired and uplifted,then I recommend buying this wonderful DVD. "The Secret" teaches that the Law of Attraction is working in our lives and in our world contstantly and consistently and that what we think about we bring about. It's a powerful message delivered by some of the most prominent teachers, philosophers, scientists and spiritual leaders of today and yesterday. Whether you watch it alone of with your family, once is not enough!

This video is a great companion to the book. I recomend getting both of them to really see the whole picture. This series really opens your eyes to the bigger possibilities life has to offer. Buy this video, you will not be dissapointed.

I really liked The Secret. I believe these are principles we should be applying in our lives regardless of what material possessions they actually get for us. Wouldn't this world be a little bit of a better place if so many people stopped believing everything and everyone was out to get them?

Overall the dvd was a little bit long running, and seemed to revisit certain points a few too many times. The law of attraction should be used carefully as I could see people just deciding to sit around and wait for things to come to them. I don't believe this is what the people in this dvd were promoting, but they could have stressed a little better that to achieve what you want in life you need to work hard for it.

Overall....a great dvd to watch and take away some important info from.

This is a shameful rip-off of the Abraham-Hicks material from their book, "The Law of Attraction." What's more, they leave out the most important parts. This dvd is a bogus, superficial treatment of the subject and in my view a complete waste of time and money. Do yourself a favor and go directly to the source.

When I saw the secret It brought it all home for me. What I had known inately for the whole of my life was eliquently languaged in a very grounded easy to follow format to allow everyone to consciously create the life of their choosing. It is a gift(now given without private agenda) to humanity.

This is a good instructional however, I suggest you read the book first. The book is very in depth and the dvd is a great add on to the book. This dvd deals with "The Secret" which is a powerful and positive way of living.
I don't suggest buying it as a stand alone "movie" as it is not a movie. But as I said, it is an instructional.

I've been doing some of these things (and then some) unconciously and without really having a structure or knowing why or how things worked out,so I know the Law of Attraction works and is very effective. Now I know the steps, it truly is "The Holy Grail" "Ask and thou shall receive"
