Movie Description
Leigh Lombardi stars as a grieving mother who learns to love again in the holiday family film SEASONS OF THE HEART. During a cross-country journey on the American frontier, homesteaders Martha (Lombardi) and Jed Richards (Sam Hennings) are devastated by the death of their twin daughters. Jed attempts to heal the family's pain by adopting an orphan named Daniel (Logan Hall), but Martha resists the boy until a Christmas miracle softens her hardened heart to the wonders of love and family.

    Seasons of The Heart Feature Films For Families You can be sure that any film from Feature Films For Families is appropriate for any member of the family. You do not have to worry about, sex, violence or offensive language for your kids. This is a heartwarming story of Martha Richards, whom has lost her 2 precious little girls on her family's trek across the American Plains while searching for a better life. Their local pastor brings an orphaned boy to see if perhaps he can live with them. Martha has a hard time accepting this scruffy little boy in comparison to her sweet little daughters. She has a bitterness set in because of her anger at God for taking her children. Eventually she will learn to love little Danny & this culminates on Christmas Eve as her faith in God is restored. I especially think little girls will like the movie, as my granddaughter does. Vey nice family Christmas gift. Make a family movie pack with popcorn & treats. Enjoy!
