Season Of Poison * by Shiny Toy Guns (CD, Nov-2008, Universal Motown)

This is amazing especially considering that they lost Carah but they gained Sisile so everything worked out great!!!

While I already own the Season of Poison CD, this addition with the DVD bonus is very nice to own and makes this a worthwhile purchase for me.

The music:
Shiny Toy guns provides deeper lyric meanings and a more of a "rock" sound in their second major label CD release. It is a change for fans who absolutely adore the sound of We Are Pilots, but not so much that Season of Poison won't grow on you.

The DVD:
This DVD provides behind the scenes photo shoot footage and band interviews covering a variety of topics, including the new female lead. I've been listening to the CD for over a year, so I'm enjoying the DVD quite a lot since it new.

Overall, if you are big Shiny Toy Guns fan, this is a great find (if you didn't get it back in 2008).

This band simply rocks. I am almost 40 and just found this band due to direct tv concert coverage. I advise serious music lovers to check these guys out. They somehow appeal strongly to me and my musical taste. Check them out, they rock.

Great CD, pretty good condition, had a cracked case but new music is sweet! I miss Carah Faye but the new girl isn't bad. I cant wait till Shiny Toy Guns come out with a new album.

All i dont really like is the scratches on the cd case but i know that they happen from small things so it doesnyt really mind.

I love Shiny Toy Guns, and am pretty impressed with their new cd, but it is still not as good as "We Are Pilots". I give it a 4 out of 5 tho, and it's always a joy to listen to them.
