Searching For Jerry Garcia [PA] [Digipak] [Limited] * [CD & DVD] by Proof (CD, Aug-2005, Iron Fist)

I would highly recommend this cd if you like Detriot artists like Obie Trice, Eminem, and D12. Proof shows why is he was among the most underated rappers of his time in Searching for Jerry Garcia. Proof is way more lyrical than artists like TI and Young Jeezy and way more meaningful than artists like Lil Wayne.

The reason for buying this album is im a huge fan of Eminem and other artists associated with him. I have always liked Proof but never bought his album. I would recommend this album to any rap or hiphop fan. There is a mixtape to go with this album which is well worth looking at. Its a shame he only go to release one single off this album. R.I.P Proof...Mayor of Detroit!

I've always loved Shady and his crew (you know: G-Unit, D12, Obie Trice and so on). And if you like Eminem and D12 you are going to LOVE this album. Remember: "The rap game misses Proof, show that you miss him too!"

This album is more then just 60 min of acting like your ready for a fight. Proof shows us he's a real person, he has the club song (girls wit the boom), the cameo appearances by Method Man and B-Real (High Rollers), and the D12 song (Pimplikeness) , but this guy is running his own show. Although most people know Proof as a member of D12, and most people know D12 as the group Eminem is in. This dudes relation to D12 is clear as D12 members make appearances on 3 songs. But if you look closely at the back cover the label is Iron Fist , and its clear Proofs running the show here. All of the songs are well done, 20 tracks with out a single dud. Kurt Kobain wraps up the album with a real look all of the success he's enjoyed and his personal feelings about his D12 friends. If you want to know who helped Eminem become the supper star he is, then look no further, if you want some real rap music that can be fun and at the same time reflect on life buy this album. R.I.P. Proof.

I always thought Proof was the best rapper in D12 and this CD prooves it. Track 5 is incredible and the rest are on par. Best CD I own.

RIP to Big Proof, but not really feeling the Cd, lyrics were kind of shaky, guest appearances, although they existed, they really didnt bring it or proof didnt step his game up, overall the cd is kind of wack. The dvd is a plus, but not much is on it.
