Regarded as one of the finest westerns ever made and listed in the American Film Institute's list of the all time great films, director John Ford and John Wayne forge an indelible saga of the frontier. John Wayne stars in one of his darkest roles as Ethan Edwards, and is joind by an impressive cast that includes Ward Bond, Jeffrey Hunter, Vera Miles, Ken Curtis, Hank Worden and Natalie Wood. The ending of this film is both haunting and profound.
