I like the fact that the book gives you insight into the inner workings of the sorority during the sorority's formative years. It also clears up any misconceptions about how and why Delta Sigma Theta was formed. I also like the fact that it gives you the foundations upon which the sorority was founded. The only negative is that the book is very cut and dry. Even though I am an avid reader, I found that I had to actually make myself continue reading it. I think that this comes from it reading more like a history textbook than an actual story. All in all, it is still a must read if you are interested in knowing more about the history of Delta Sigma Theta.
