Description Strange virtual pet / conversation game from the crazy mind of Yoot Saito. Players raise a virtual creature from egg to smack-talking fish. Reminiscent of Monty Python's aquarium scenes in the movie The Meaning of Life, Seaman is a fish with a human face. Using a packed-in microphone (which is plugged into the Dreamcast controller), players converse with Seaman about philosophy and life in general.
In life, there is no reset button. And in Seaman, there are no casual users. You have to give it daily attention -- often twice daily. You can't even bring the Seamen with you and care for them in the VMU -- you will need to give your Seamen to a baby-sitter if you expect them to survive.
Special Features Microphone support, voice recognition technology, over 10,000 vocal responses, Leonard Nimoy voice sampling, evolving creatures in gameplay
