A STEAL for $33 including shipping !!!
Yes, you can get a 1 TB these days for $100 including shipping but I just needed a modest size drive to give more capacity for music files on an older PC. Having used lots of Seagate drives before, I bought this one and it has been trouble free. Installation was easy-truly plug and play on my Athlon Emachine unit running Windows XP (BOOO VISTA !!!) SP3. Slightly wider than some of my newer Seagates but for me, this was not a problem. This models needs a external power adapter and the nice part about this unit is that the plug that goes into your power strip is normal sized and the transformer "brick" is in the middle. Overall, I am pleased with this unit for it's value/performance but I wouldn't pay more than $40 INCLUDING shipping for this any 250 GB unit since for USB drives, capacity is increasing and prices are decreasing.
