Great drive that works right out of the box. The vertical design allows the Free-Agent to take up minimal space on the desk. Another feature to consider is the standard warranty that comes from Seagate. This is my first Seagate drive and will not be my last. They have gained a new customer.

no complaints as of now, has been working great and is easy to use. It was not quite 320 Gb but thats not a huge deal to me. Got a really good deal compared to tons of other websites and its a seagate, one of the best brands.

Excellent product, installs quickly and easily. Very user friendly. Prior to installing, I was concerned about the lack of an on/off switch, no problem it shuts down when the computer is powered down.

The drive is great and works perfectly. Stable and sleek in its look. This drive if formatted for PC computers. You can still use it on a Mac but your have to reformat the drive with your Disk Utility. Not a big hassle...but its still extra work. If i didn't have a Mac I would be 100% happy with my purchase so I will stay at 99% satisfied with the Seagate Freeagent External Hard Drive.

My laptop was all but frozen it was so crammed with files that I'd accumulated from personal and now business use. This Seagate Hard Drive has completely solved my memory capacity problems and my computer is up and running smoothly and efficiently once again! The price I paid makes people's mouths drop open, it is so reasonable! Be aware it is a desktop unit, not a pocket-sized one, so I just put whatever I need to use when away from home onto my desktop and I'm good to go! Then remove it when I'm finished with temporary use - there's still the original on my Seagate! Best investment I've made for a very long time!
