I have had more than one portable hard drive, but the Seagate FreeAgent Go is the simplest of them all. Has built in software so no loading up from DVD's, etc. Also a simple USB connection provides both power and connectivity to your computer. The USB cable is very short but works well if you have a USB port in the front of your CPU. Price is right and is, also, a winner of several awards.
