Seagate FreeAgent Desk ST315005FDA2E1-RK 1.5 TB USB Hard Drive

I bought this around a month ago probably a little longer than that. But I used it for a couple days and it started the clicking like all the others u here about, just check out the seagate forum section of there site under this model number not hard to miss . So I bought me a different external hard drive and brand of course to get my stuff off of it before it fried or whatever it was going to do because they get extremely hot as well.And all they will do is have u send it in and give a replacement for it which is wrong of them especially for the ones that bought new ones send yours in and you get one that is several months old I mean they just came out in late of 2008 so I mean there not that old but still yet not a good warranty u should get a new replacement not a refurbished hard drive. They need to be recalled is what needs to happen with these pieces of junk. just beware what u buy I wouldn't recommend this item at all at this time until they do something with it
