This is a great hard drive for those with large storage needs. The SATA interface offers reliable transfer at 25% to 33% faster than IDE. Rated a 100,000 plus of life expectancy it is a great value. I highly recommend this drive to anyone seeking this type of product. The ebay seller was excellent, he delivered a high quality product at an affordable price.

System DefectThese drives ship with a firmware defect that eventually bricks the harddrive. There is no indication that this drive was fixed prior to the failure or was refurbished or if the fault still exists. People purchasing this drive could find out that they can't access their data after transferring it.
