Scrubs - The Complete First Season (2005, DVD)

I love this show!!! Scrubs is a comedy that takes the unexpected and makes it acceptable. I love the way that you get inside the mind of the main character JD. If I had that much stuff going on in my head I would explode. The best part of the show is that just when you think it is nothing but juvenile slapstick comedy, they hit you right in the heart with a touching story.

This is one of the few shows that was ever on television that I had a very hard time picking an absolute favorite character. From "Friends," Joey all the way, "Will & Grace", Karen, "Roseanne," I loved Dan, but here there are so many great characters that are so well played I would truly call this an ensemble performance. Thanks for the laughs "Scrubs" and the stories!

Scrubs is a really great and really funny show. Although it is a comedy, it has its drama and its serious parts too, which are very well handled. It also looks at relationships in a more realistic way than a certain other medical show (Grey's Anatomy). I also like the way the show portrays nurses and shows their importance in the medical field, and also looks at different areas of medicine. The shows also portrays them not only practicing medicine, but doing research and paperwork, which adds to the realism of the show.

I'm extremely in love with this show!! I'm in the process of buying the whole series. All of the shows are written very well. The actors are great together. The storylines can be silly or serious, funny or sad, all in one show, and it really works. I definitely recommend this dvd collection. This show ROCKS!!!!

funny, witty, serious...Scrubs has got it all! after watching various episodes on TV i was totally hooked and could not stop watching it. Episodes are the right lenght (about 30 to 40 min) and leave you happy after watching them! I have watched many series shows but I have to admit Scrubs is definetly the best. I highly reccomend it.

I bought this item (Scrubs Season One)because I like this show, but is sadly not on that much any more. The best thing is that it is a full season that i bought for a lot less than retail price, with fast shipping. The only down side is that two of the extra features skip a little. But other than that, there are a lot more extra features that work just fine!

Scrubs is the greatest down to earth, true to life, most genius comedy EVER!Zach Braff's narration is perfect through out all of the seasons. Its really cool to see the character and relationships grow and change through out each season also. One thing that really makes the show unique is the way that they always find ways to incorporate things from past episodes, as far as flashbacks and why certain things are the way they are. There is no show better i can't wait to see the rest of season 7 starting this month!

Its the simple subtle things that makes this show so funny. I mean the janitor is always out to get JD. He is always so angry and it all started with a penny! Watch the first episode and you will understand. From the old and angry doctor to the perverted surgical intern, you can beat this show!

Always so hestitant to buy dvds/cds on any auction site where used dvds/cds are sold because you always have to worry about quality, will it play or wont it? Well this seller said dvd was in great condition and it was, plays perfectly all the way through all three discs, couldn't be more satisfied thanks.

I shopped locally at major stores for this DVD. I was able to purchase a new DVD off of ebay, even with the shipping costs, it was cheaper then at the store. I was able to go to the mailbox and get it instead of "running from place to place" to find the best price.

This show is absolute genius. The cast has so much chemistry immediately, and you can tell this show was going to last for a long time (which it has). From the rants of Dr. Cox to J.D.'s daydreams, this show is chock full of one liners and gimmicks that you may find yourself imitating. (I know I do).

I love Scrubs and I am so sad that the show is in their final season now! This is the first season DVD set and it is awsome!

i am a 72 old male.i like many kinds of tv series.my very favorits are from the 70 @ 80s.in comparison to more current series i found it worthwhile @ enjoyable.

Scrubs - season 1. This series started off with a bang. This show is great. Its so much different from other sitcoms. You should really buy this!

You have to have a certain sense of humor for this! This is most definitely my husband's sense of humor and he loves this TV series!

This is a unique comedy that is entertaining as well as just pure funny. I haven't seen a show like this in a long time and enjoy a different approach to the typical comedy sitcom on TV today. The characters are hilarious and they are never predictable. I am not really a TV fan, but I am a fan of this show and I intend to purchase every season!!
