2008 Scott Stamp Catalogue

2008 Scott Stamp Catalogue
The color scheme has improved greatly in the Scott catalogues. They switched to color two years ago and since then have improved the color images. I have found it much easier to locate stamps when a color catalogue is used in lieu of a black-and- white one. There are also other improvements and thus overall the six volume general catalogue is more relevant by the year.
Seven countries have been updated in recent Scott catalogues:
1) North Korea has had its stamps listed to 2000;
2) Liberia now has all new issues included;
3) Afghanistan has all approved issues included;
4) Tuva has had all of its issues included including the rare overprints;
5) Indonesia now has its Revolutionary Issues included. It has two geographical sections-----Java and Sumatra.----and also its Republic era issues included;
6) Cuba now has prices for its stamps since 1960; and
7) Chad has had its modern stamps added.
I am glad that I purchased the new Scott Catalogues. They are vastly improved. New quality paper is used in its pages. Color is now the norm. The set is worth the money and is interesting to read.
