The Scorpion King stars former WWE wrestler "The Rock". It is an awesome action movie that is full of eye candy. Follow The Rock as "The Acadian" who is like a super assassin. He goes forth to defend against an evil warlord and ends up discovering more then he thought!

It is an awesome movie that is full of action and great actors.

I can never say enough about the rock he is a realy cool actor and this movie does him justice as an actor this is one of my favorites

The Scorpion King is a delightful movie with some wonderful actors picked for some great action scenes! The Rock (the Scorpion King) played this part due to being introduced in The Mummy Returns. (This movie actually is a prequel to The Mummy, but I believe was filmed after The Mummy Returns.) As you watch this movie, I think you will agree that a lot of time and energy was used to find just the perfect person for each particular role, and that each actor played their role to the fullest. I found the settings interesting,the costumes creative, and the actors to be believable in their roles. Although Dwayne Johnson has the whitest teeth I've ever seen for a character of this era, it is easy to overlook, when you have the whole Rock to look at throughout the whole movie. So, if you are looking for a movie that the women won't mind the fight scenes due to the finely-sculptured men, and the men won't mind the soft scenes due to the harem of women, I can assure you that your movie night will not be disappointing. While you're at it, you might as well get The Mummy and The Mummy Returns!

I think "The Rock"(Dwayne Johnson) is a force to be reckoned with in this film and in the acting world.

this movie just did mot work for me i was thinking this was a part of the mummy movies but it look'd more like a conan movie if it had nothing to do with the mummy returns it may have been better an now i hear that thare will be a prequil to this movie the scorpion king as a young boy do we realy need to see that

I enjoy seeing the acting talent of the Rock. He shows that he has come far since his start in WWE. I had this movie before and wanted it again because my boys are huge fans.

My son loved the movie. The price was awesome, shipped really quick. My son is a huge ROCK fan and this was the one movie he did not have in his ROCK collection.

Both my husband and I like to watch these types of movies so I purchased it for us. It is a fast pace, entertaining with the science fiction and actors that we both enjoy.

If you are a critic, don't go see this one. If you are an action fan, it is a must-see! Although critics call it low on plot, it makes up for that by being high on visual and emotional appeal! This one has something for everyone.

Loaded with some high-end actors and with some of the best cinematography around, this colorful, tongue-in-cheek romp through questionable Egyptian history is a feast for the senses and for the action fan afficianado!

Based (loosely) on a very, very old Egyptian king, and filmed as a sort of prequel to the fabulously well-received Mummy films, this flick tells the story of the mysterious Scorpion King who appeared in both of the Mummy films as a cameo type character.

In a nutshell, mean, evil Memnon wants to conquer humanity as a whole. Only a few die-hard tribes are out there trying to hang onto their heads and their lands. Memnon has this gorgeous sorceress chick who he keeps sort of captive to help him win all his battles. Got it so far? Okay. One of the rebelling tribal kings hires three Akkadian assassins (the last of a great race, naturally) to take out the sorceress (who nobody seems to know is a girl) and defeat Memnon and his hordes of nasty, musclebound dudes.

That's the basic plot. Not a lot to go on, but it makes up for plot in the stunning visual stuff, like the fabulous desert expanses and the great Cinematography! We have a gorgeous, feisty chick, a sexy-as-sin pro wrestler playing the Akkadian, and some truly gnarly side characters who flesh out the plot and the action. We also have a sidekick camel who holds conversations with the Akkadian in camelese. We have a great comic relief, a really nasty anti-hero guy and lots of fabulously choreographed fight sequences and action scenes that keep the viewer laughing, yelling, or just staring and drooling.

So the critics didn't like it? So, who cares? Go to your favorite eBay store buy it. Watch it often. It's well worth the price.

A wonderful movie that my entire family enjoys. It doesn't matter how many times my teenager watches it, he continues to enjoy it. It is a movie to own, not just rent.

I bought this movie for my daughter and she just absolutely loves it. I also enjoyed watching it. This is a good movie.

I really enjoy this movie the Rock displays wit and humor it seems that I like it more each time I watch it. It's perfect for a lazy Sunday afternoon.

this movie is great if you like action. the rock plays a part made for him. the action keeps you interested through the entire movie. the battle scenes are great and not one gun. with all the action its hard to believe that they found a place to add romance but they did and it was added at the right part of the movie. great movie A+++

I bought it because it looked very fun. It was. It gets a little rediculous at times, but it's still fun to watch. It has its funny moments too.
